The Citizens' Assembly concluded its work this weekend after a final intensive debate on proposed reforms to health promotion and prevention. The participants, a randomly selected cross-section of the Swiss population, discussed ten specific measures and adopted six of them.
This weekend, the Citizens' Assembly is debating proposals for health promotion and prevention reforms at the Federal Palace – ranging from a national health law and a ban on advertising unhealthy products to improving the population's health literacy.
Last weekend, the Citizens' Assembly gathered at the University of Neuchatel for the second time in plenary session to further explore the topic of “Health Promotion & Prevention”.
